Billy Davis

Billy Davis, a dedicated Community Leader, is deeply involved in his community. He’s a member of the Howick Club, attends the Pakuranga Chinese Baptist Church, and is a registered Marriage and Funeral Celebrant.

He serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Auckland Celebrants Committee and advises on ceremonies involving Tikanga Māori. Billy is Kaumatua for Victim Support Counties Manukau and the Beth Sean Trust. He volunteers at the Howick Pakuranga Community Patrol, the Heart Foundation, and the Breast Cancer Foundation. Each Easter, he helps lead the Stockade Hill sunrise ceremony in Te Reo Māori.

In 2023, the Howick Local Board recognised him with a Volunteer Appreciation Award. His work has been featured in the Eastern Times and NZ Herald. Billy works full-time at Northpower in East Tāmaki and is becoming a Justice of the Peace. Howick is a great place to live, work and play.
